These photographs were taken on the morning of March 25, 2026, in bed, in Vienna, with a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro from 2019, straight out of camera.
Resistance. Of the surface. Of the skin. Of my body. Still being alive.
Animality. Materiality of everything.
The duvet, the hot water bottle, the cat, the wall. My skull, my mouth, my ear, my eye, my fist.
Every surface equal under the sensor. Fabric, fur, skin, bone... the camera does not know the difference.
The body is not the instrument of perception. The body is the perception. I am in here. I am the medium. I am the observer observed.
The fist is not a metaphor.
This is a reaction to virtuality, to AI, to the fake. These surfaces were touched. This body was here. Nothing was generated.
Fight. Insist on reality. Insist on the medium. The photograph as proof that this body was here, in this bed, on this morning, still.
